Twelve members from our chapter attended the 2008 Contemplative Outreach Conference in Pittsburgh. Our days were filled with prayer, enrichment activities, connecting with others from around the world and refreshing words from extraordinary teachers. I’m pleased to tell you that the opportunity to see parts of this conference is still available through the web. Log onto
http://www.contemplativeoutreach2008.blogspot.com to hear Fr. Carl Arico speak on forgiveness, listen to inspiring talks from Fr. Thomas Keating & Fr. Laurence Freeman, and read what’s happening with CO on an international level.
The evolution of opportunities through cyberspace is in response to so many who are unable to travel and participate in person. Contemplative Outreach continues to respond and serve in as many ways as possible. Be sure to visit the updated Contemplative Outreach website to access on-line courses, local retreats & workshops, the expanded bookstore and more.
