Healing Divisions: A day of prayer dedicated to whole-making in ourselves, our relationships and our world.
There is neither Jew nor Gentile,
neither slave nor free,
nor is there male and female,
for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
(Galatians 3:28)
Contemplative Outreach Northeast Ohio has been participating in the annual United in Prayer Day for over 25 years! Events for the day will include several sitting sessions of silent meditation Centering Prayer, a video excerpt from “That We May Be One: Christian Non-Duality” featuring Fr. Thomas Keating, small group discussion and lunch provided by the Laurel Lake Retirement Community. If this is your first experience of Centering Prayer, do not worry! Someone will be available to answer questions.
